What else can be treated?

Acupuncture and back pain

Back pain is one of the most common reasons to visit an acupuncturist. Daily life puts such a strain on our skeleton that many of us are living with different levels of pain constantly. With an increasing wish to steer away from mediation to fix the problem, more people are turing to alternative therapies to help ease the pain and make it bearable.

Insomnia

Insomnia can be a crippling condition that takes over our life and ability to function at our best.  It is often a long term proble that is not easy to treat and often leads to medication dependancy.  Acupuncture, although is not a quick fix, can aid relaxation, help clear the mind and prepare the body for a better nights sleep.

Headaches & Migraines

Many of us live a fast pace in life with many demands from family and work.  All these factors can lead to a very common and debilitating problem, headaches, and in many cases severe migraines.  Pain is seen in chinese medicine as a blockage of energy, or Qi.  More often tension, which leads to blocakges, is focused around shoulders, upper back, neck and head.  Acupuncture and cupping can release tension, help with stress levels, ensure a healthy flow of Qi and ease the pain.  Dietary advice is also important as dehydration and over stimulation can be a big contributing factor.
